Founded in 1998 by Robert Garrison, a third-generation woodworker, Milwaukee Pallets USA began as a small family operation with a simple mission: provide Wisconsin businesses with quality pallets at fair prices. Starting with just a 5,000 sq ft yard and two employees, Robert saw an opportunity to serve local manufacturers who were frustrated with inconsistent quality and unreliable suppliers from out of state.
The first year was challenging. We processed just 12,000 pallets and served 15 customers. But word spread quickly about our commitment to quality inspection, fair grading, and same-day service. By 2003, we had expanded to 25,000 sq ft, added pallet repair services, and were processing over 100,000 pallets annually for 200+ customers across Wisconsin.
The 2008 recession tested our resilience. While competitors closed their doors, we doubled down on customer service and introduced our recycling program, helping businesses reduce costs while protecting the environment. This decision transformed our business model and established us as sustainability leaders in the pallet industry.
Over the past 25+ years, we've grown from that modest yard to one of the region's leading pallet suppliers, now operating from a 100,000 sq ft facility and processing over 500,000 pallets annually. We employ 45 dedicated team members and serve 1,000+ businesses across Wisconsin, from small family warehouses to Fortune 500 manufacturers.
